Three Effective Tips For Losing Body Fat Fast

Three Effective Tips For Losing Body Fat Fast

Let’s face it, even if you’re the most patient person in the entire world, waiting for prolonged periods of time for things we want can feel like an eternity, and if we could, 9 times out of 10 we’d speed the entire waiting process up. Weight loss for example, is a prime example of this. Unfortunately losing weight takes much longer than actually gaining weight, and it’s very easy for us to become bored, unmotivated, or frustrated when attempting to lose weight. Some people will diet for weeks upon weeks, hop onto the scales, and only lose a measly pound or two. Now, whilst any loss is a good loss, obviously after dieting and exercising for weeks, the numbers these people will have been hoping for will almost certainly have been higher than just a pound or two. If you’re fed up of busting your butt in the gym and in the kitchen, and not seeing the fat loss results you may have been hoping for, there are several things you can do to speed the fat loss process up. Here we’ll be sharing a few simple and effective tips for losing body fat fast.

HIIT

HIIT

HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is a fantastic method of cardio that is ideal for burning fat, increasing fitness and stamina, and saving time as well. The basic premise behind HIIT is that users alternate between periods of slow and steady exercise, and fast paced high intensity exercise. For example: A person may begin by walking at a steady pace on a treadmill for 90 seconds. They will then speed up the treadmill and sprint as fast as they can for 60 seconds, before slowing down, walking for 90 seconds again, and repeating the process for several rounds. A typical session lasts around 20 – 30 minutes, and can burn upwards of 600 calories.

Weight training

People associate weight training with people looking to bulk up and build muscle, but in reality, weight training is a fantastic method for burning fat as well. When you lift weights you are still burning calories, but it’s what the weight lifting does to your body that promotes fat loss. As you build lean muscle mass, your metabolism will actually improve so you will burn more calories and have more energy than before, even in a rested state. The reason for this is that muscle requires more energy to maintain itself than fat, and this energy comes from burned calories. That’s why muscular people require a greater daily intake of calories than regular sized individuals.

Eat little and often

Some people think that starving themselves all day is the best way to lose weight, and will do so, having only one large meal in the evening. Even if the meal they have is healthy, it still isn’t the right way to go about losing weight as once again, it all comes down to our metabolisms. The most effective way of losing weight is to eat small and healthy meals regularly throughout the day, every three hours or so. The reason for this is that the calories in the foods help to fuel the metabolism, increasing its efficiency. That means that the more efficient it becomes, the more calories it will burn, and the more energy you will have. Not only are you burning more calories, you are also going to benefit from increased energy levels as this will make workouts more effective, helping to burn even more body fat. Track your calories, eat just below maintenance, and eat small, healthy, and balanced meals every three hours or so.
